I serve mamas who want to soak up those young childhood years and preserve their family legacy by having classic, timeless heirloom photographs that truly reflect their love for each other without all of the fuss of outfit coordination and location scouting.

With two little ones of my own, I’ve had to master the go-with-the-flow attitude (snack breaks & potty breaks during a shoot, anyone?) And as a wedding photographer for the past 9 years, my experience has taught me how to tell the stories of my clients.

The days are LONG,
but the years are SHORT.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN…

Treasuring the little years is something that I am always trying to grasp. On difficult days, I try to remind myself that I will someday miss the sounds of wild boys running through my house. And, one day I'll miss being the one who settles their small scuffles.

On a particularly difficult season a couple of years ago, I photographed my boys in our backyard. I captured their ordinary, quiet moments. And I was tickled to watch my oldest son wrap his arm around his baby brother.

Sometime later, I received prints in the mail from that little backyard session. I opened the package and felt the smooth texture of the print and gazed at those sweet boys and those moments that were frozen in time. It was like my heart was on display!

Seeing their little faces smiling back at me melted my heart. And I just wanted to pepper my home with all of these images. They were a reminder to me of the joy of motherhood—especially on those tough days.

Then I thought--why on earth would I not be putting these kinds of images into my client's hands?! With that, a seed was planted and I began to create a Portrait Experience that captured those real-life kid moments for other mamas to display in their home. With the goal being that those images would serve as a reminder of the joy of motherhood.
