She sat anxiously in a room surrounded by her best friends who kept the atmosphere light. She was nervous. Her hair glammed up and her make up flawless, today was her wedding day. And in about an hour, Ashley was to meet Ryan for their first look. I promised her that once she saw him, all of the nerves would disappear.
I have seen this so many times. The bride’s nervous practically vanish after they see their grooms. That is why I love first looks so much!
A while later, just before the first look, Ryan and I walked out into a grassy field located a few steps from Tradition Town Hall. I strategically positioned him as to not see Ashley. Overcome with emotion, Ashley dabbed her tears away with a tissue as she walked up to meet her groom. As soon as Ryan spun around and saw Ashley, his face lit up with a big smile. More tears welled up in Ashley’s eyes as he pulled her in for a big hug. A few moments later, Ashley breathed a sigh of relief and clutched onto Ryan’s hand. Now, to enjoy the rest of the day together!
Their outdoor wedding ceremony at Tradition Town Hall couldn’t have been any more perfect. After the ceremony, guests were shown inside to the cocktail hour and reception. My favorite part of the day were all of the bride and groom portraits that we got! I am excited to share some of my favorite images below.
Ryan and Ashley, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your special day! I wish you all of the best!!
