Mary and Daniel had never taken photos together, but that didn’t hinder their experience at all! From the very first time my finger hit the shutter button, I could tell these two were going to be naturals in front of the camera! Check out their engagement photos taken in Stuart Fl!

This sweet family drove all the way from Boynton Beach to photograph their maternity session at sunrise! I am so honored that they would wake up so early to have me photograph them! So pleased with this maternity session at House of Refuge! Click the link to view the photos!

We were fortunate enough to have a rainbow in the sky for our engagement session at House of Refuge. I’ve never been witness to this at a session before, come see Ashleigh and Ryan’s photos!
I did it! I shot my last wedding before I go out on maternity leave at 35 weeks. Not without the help of Frank and Kim, who assisted me on this wedding. I am so grateful for their help on this with me. I had no idea how taxing a wedding would be on the body once you were 8 months pregnant! It's so nice to know other photographers who truly have your back and who care! :)
I'm so excited to share this wedding on the blog!
There was nothing but laughs and giggles when Nicole saw Jeff for their first look. Her face lit up as she saw his reaction--blown away. He took her hands and told her how gorgeous she looked. It was a beautiful moment between the two of them. Just another reason why I love when clients have first looks!
Their wedding at the Hutchinson Island Marriott was nothing but perfect. Nicole's bridesmaids wore deep blue chiffon dresses. Their bouquets were beautifully arranged with colors of coral, cream and green. Let's not forget about the guys--the groomsmen were dashing in their dark navy blue suits, topped off with stripped bow ties, and stopped socks!
Nicole and Jeff, thank you so much for the honor of documenting your wedding day! It was a magical day and I am so happy to have been a part of it!
Check out their slideshow!

Lately the weather in south Florida has been C-R-A-Z-Y! Afternoon thunderstorms are popping up on the daily and putting a damper on beautiful sunny afternoons. Because of that, Miriam and Michael had to reschedule their session twice! So we tried a different strategy. If afternoons were a bust, then why not try an early morning session? Our attempt at outsmarting the Florida weather served us well. It was the perfect plan! No rain. Nothing but sunshine!
We met at Memorial Park in Stuart, FL. Miriam had picked out this location for its simple, and quaint beauty. It was actually the first time that I had shot an engagement session there, so I was quite excited to see how the light would fair, especially during the morning hours. We walked around the entire park and shot where the light was best—love finding good light! Morning light is so different than golden hour but I think I can love it just the same!
You can tell these two love eachother! I think that Michael kept Miriam laughing the entire time! I loved catching their natural reactions :) I am so excited to have the honor of photographing their wedding in December! Here's a sneak peek from our session. . .
I slid inside the booth and he squeezed in next to me, putting his arm around me to keep me warm. Jeremy didn't even have to ask, he knew I'd be cold. And I appreciated the gesture as I seem to always be cold everywhere I go. He is always looking after me in that way, always going out of his way to make me more comfortable. It's one of the things that I love about him. He will go many lengths to make sure I'm happy.
Tonight, we were out on a date night. It doesn't happen often enough! We'd both been so busy after our trip to Tennessee and having to come home, work and follow through with other commitments, left no time in our schedule for just us. So that's why on Sunday night when I was talking to Jeremy at work over the phone, he made a point to say that tonight would be our date night.
We generally try to plan for a date night once a week and on no particular day. Jeremy has a rotating schedule at work, so his schedule is always fluctuating. During date nights, we try to make a point to keep our cell phones away. It's bad enough that we are both on them all the time, so it's really important that we hide them away!
We had plans to go to our favorite place for sushi, Kazu. When we pulled up, they were closed! We were so bummed! We had our hearts set on spicy tuna and miso soup so much so that it made it difficult to decide on where to go instead. We settled on Chilis, you really can't go wrong! Hello, queso dip.
Here's our photo from lastnight, after a couple of outtakes we finally got a good one :)
Though they went to highschool together, they rarely had the opportunity to be around one another and therefore never really spoke to one another. It wasn't until a couple of years after highschool graduation that a trip to Key West with mutual friends, would inevitably be a life changing trip for Kate and Justin. Things just seemed to click for them. . .Maybe it was the warm salty Key West air, the fruity drinks, or excessive fun in the sun. Whatever it was, there was just enough ingredients to sizzle up a relationship.
The true test of their relationship came when Kate's job required her to travel. Though Justin had already known for a while that she was "the one", he decided that he would wait for the perfect opportunity to pop the question. One day, he presented Kate with his grandmother's diamond which had been perfectly set in a rose gold band *It's gorgeous, really*. Of course, she said YES! The fact that these two have each other forever makes me so darn happy! I'm so excited to have the honor of photographing their wedding in just a few short months!
Kate and Justin will be enjoying their newlywed life in the The Big Easy -- New Orleans! With that in mind, they wanted to take some photos around their home town, Stuart Florida, so that they would never forget where they came from. We hit a couple of the spots in Downtown Stuart just before sunset. Though it was hot out, Kate really did a great job of rocking out some amazing photos! *Great job, both of you!!*
I love when clients personalize their engagement photos with stuff like this! So fitting!
Enjoying some champagne at sunset, what more could you ask for?!?!
The sun came out and it was splendid!!
One of my ALL TIME favorite shots right here!!! ^^^ This was one of the last series of shots we took, she is stunning!
Thanks again to Justin and Kate for an amazing engagement session! Can't wait to see your wedding unfold this fall!!
