Her dress fit her as though it was handmade just for her. She delicately grasped a handful of ruffles and gazed down as her sister helped her put on her shoes. A bit nervous, yes. But you couldn't tell. Kate gracefully prepared for one of the most important days of her life well poised and ready.
Her groom got ready in a flash, as all guys do. He was just as nervous as she was. But Shaun had his brother to crack casual jokes and deflate any lingering nerves for him. Shaun was sharp as he was beaming. A few tears shed when his Mom pinned his boutineer in place. Such sweet moments.
More tears would be shed by Shaun as he first saw his bride coming down the aisle towards him. A bet had been made that Shaun would be the one to break down first, and he was.
After their ceremony, we headed outside and spent some time getting some really beautiful bride and groom portraits. One of my favorite images was with Kate holding her bouquet. Her bouquet was one of the most unique arrangements ever! Beautiful red and green colors with lots of different textures.
Kate and Shaun, thank you for giving me the privilege and honor of photographing your wedding day! Kristy and I had a blast and your wedding was beautiful!!
