There was something about the way that he gazed into her eyes that made me feel like I was watching an old romantic black and white film. And equally reciprocated was the way she adored his every gesture and his chivalrous nature. Christina and Scott had met at a local charitable function not too long ago. After meeting and dating, it was indisputable that they had indeed met their soul mate.
So on an evening in early June, Christina and Scott joined together by close friends and made their vows to each other beneath two old oak trees out in the country at Quail Creek Ranch Plantation. Their small inmate countryside wedding was just perfect. They had spent a lot of time out at Quail Creek in the past and felt like the familiarity was unparalleled, there was not another place they could have imaged saying their “I do’s”. The little things like the small candle lit mason jars that were nestled next to the roots of the old oaks and the handmade garland that hung from the tree added the perfect amount of personality.
After the ceremony, we took advantage of the property’s amazing backdrops. There were so many little treasures to find for photos, but we found one of the best spots. It was on a long dirt road, underneath a canopy of live oaks. The dirt road seemed to go on for an infinity, which to me, seemed to represent their day perfectly and thus the perfect spot for a few portraits.
Congratulations to Scott and Christina!! I truly admire your love for each other and I look forward to seeing you both grow closer together in the years to come! It was an honor to document your day for you :)
