Her infectious smile and sweet personality are hard to forget. It had been years since I had seen Jo, but she hadn’t changed one bit. Jo and I had gone to the same elementary, middle and high school together! (Shout out to J.Parker, SMS + MCHS!) We hadn’t kept up with each other, but, years later I saw her in my neighborhood. She had just moved in down the street from me and was carrying moving boxes inside her house. We chit chatted for a little bit and then we both went about our day.

Fast forward a couple of years and I receive an email from Jo inquiring about a maternity session. I was thrilled for them! After having Easton, I genuinely know the profound joy and preciousness that comes with being pregnant. It’s always exciting to me to photograph maternity sessions.

Jo and Mike met me at Indian Riverside Park. The park is full of little photo opportunities. From the hanging moss to the sea grape trees that line the shore of the Indian River. There are a multitude of areas that lend to amazing images. But, you have to hit it at the right time. Golden hour is the best!

I am excited to share some of the images from our session on the blog today! Enjoy!
