She ascended up the old spiral staircase, her feet landing softly on the hard wooden floors which creaked from age. The brick structure, built in 1933 was a dream come true venue for Kate. From the red brick that was stacked perfectly, to the vintage archway, the blue shutters and the gorgeous landscape, Casa Feliz was the picture perfect vintage romantic wedding venue. Everything about Kate and Justin’s day was marked with vintage, chic.
She was welcomed into her bridal suite by her closest family and friends, even two friends who hopped across the pond from England to join in her celebration. As Kate prepared for her day, her four little flower girls twirled around in their dresses and excitedly anticipated their portion of the day—to blow bubbles down the aisle for Kate!
As the day went on, it became more and more overcast, the sky threatened with it’s gray clouds and occasional thunder. Finally, the clouds gave way to rain. With a little bit of trepidation, yet remaining hopeful, Kate kept hold of her dream of having her wedding outside, in front of the old wooden door of Casa Feliz. Just minutes before the ceremony time, the rain stopped and the clouds began to lift. It was an amazing surprise and enabled Kate to experience her dream wedding alongside the man of her dreams! As if that wasn’t amazing enough, just before their first kiss as husband and wife, the SUN peeked through and showered them, not with rain, but this time with golden light! A truly magical moment!
These shoes! Described as "lush" by Kate's girlfriends from England. That description couldn't have been more true!
A gorgeous bouquet was made specially with love by Kate's sister in law, Tina :)
The hanging moss, the brick, the blue doors and the dress. Perfection!
Kate and Justin's adorable flower girls, aren't they just so cute!!
This isn't just any ring. The stone is from Justin's grandmother! The rose gold setting is perfect :)
Kate, you look so regal here! Love this shot! Luma Bridal did an amazing job on your hair and makeup!
Justin putting the finishing touches together. You looked great! Thank you to Robyn Barkley for capturing this shot!
Ok, so this portion of the day was just adorable. The ring bearer bashfully made his way down the aisle, followed by the little angelic flower girls who finally got to blow their bubbles!
As Kate proceeded towards Justin, I was able to capture his reaction to her. I love it!
Justin and Kate's tying of the knot ceremony, each giving it a tug to ensure it's tight!
The magical burst of sunlight that broke out of the clouds just seconds before their first kiss!!
You both look amazing! Justin, you looked so handsome, Kate, you looked gorgeous!
The bridal party and flower girls, blowing their bubbles, of course :)
I loved Kate's veil and dress by Isabella's Bridal! Simply put, it's elegant and regal, just like her.
One thing I absolutely never get tired of is capturing candid moments. Loving this one of the first dance. Years later, I always want couples to remember how they felt in that very moment. The cake, made by Corrie's Confections, was beautifully placed in front of the vintage backdrop.
Kate and Justin, I simply cannot thank you enough. Because I have known both of you for so long, I felt this was such an extra special event for me personally. You guys are a beautiful couple, your families and friends are so blessed to have you in their lives! I wish you both a lifetime of love and blessings! Much luv to you guys!
