Wow, what an amazing year 2015 has been! I’ve been blessed with more than I deserved and met so many wonderful clients who gave me the honor of being their wedding photographer. THANK you to all of my 2015 wedding clients, I am so grateful for you!
When coming to the end of another year, most of us pause and reflect on the previous year, thinking about what all we have accomplished, counting our blessings and remembering our mistakes—hopefully to help keep us well rounded. This year, God has given me so much grace to learn and to carry out tasks, and some jobs that I felt were too big for me to do, yet proving to myself that it was possible. I've photographed weddings at some amazing locations, bigger than I could have imagined for myself this year. I've been a witness to real moments that evoked so much emotion. I have been challenged with scenarios in which I thought I would flounder. I have floundered :). Many times! And I have also succeeded. This year has been very telling of who I am as a business, who I want to be, and where I want my business to go.
Before turning the page on another year, I feel it necessary to celebrate the new year with a look back on 2015. I have compiled an array of my favorite photos from my 2015 weddings. It took me forever to pull all of these images together (note to self: must get a better at portfolio organization). It’s so hard to narrow them down, but these photos are my favorite for various reasons.
In the photos that I have chosen, are images that display emotion, pretty details, stories, gorgeous venues, and beautiful lighting. Sure, they are not all perfect, but they each tell a story of either the person/people within the frame, a story of who I am, and/or both. I once heard someone say that you leave a piece of yourself in every photo you take (I think it was Jared Platt that said this, but don’t quote me).
At the end of this year, I leave behind the best of the best with a year in review; 2015 Kristen Browning Photography Weddings. Again, thank you to my clients. Without you, this past year wouldn’t have been as amazing at is was!
Cheers to 2016!
