A Scottish Inspired Beach Wedding
It was just like a scene out of a movie. There she was standing in line, the cashier ringing up her items, when a man—tall, dark, and handsome caught her gaze. They were immediately drawn to each other. And here is the amazing part...right there, in Trader Joe’s, Brian asked her out. Reluctant, Heather was due to fly out to Scotland soon and wondered if it was worth it. And besides, she had not planned on picking up a date while she was picking up her groceries.
There must have been something exceptional about Brian that made her say “yes” to a first date while standing in line at the market. That is easy to believe since Brian is just one of those guys who makes you feel as if you have known him your whole life, he’s got that guy next door, friendly demeanor.
Soon after, Heather and Brian got engaged at the very same place as where they first met! As of lately, the pair has been enjoying life while living in London. For about the last year, Heather had planned her wedding with her mom who lived across the pond in Florida. So much planning went into her wedding and it paid off, because everything went perfectly! Throughout the day I mentioned how I couldn’t believe that the timeline was going so smoothly, the day flowed without any hitches (a rarity on a wedding day!).
What I loved most about this wedding was the fact that Heather incorporated her Scottish roots throughout the day. Her father walked her down the aisle wearing a traditional Highland dress and even played the bagpipes! I just love when couples incorporate pieces of their heritage into their weddings like that!
These two are an exquiste couple. Heather has that Christy Brinkley, model-esc look about her, she is STUNNING! She made such a beautiful bride! Heather and Brian, congratulations! Thank you so much for giving me the honor to document your day! I wish you a lifetime of happiness!! <3
