Oxbow Eco Center Wedding
She delicately tip toed around the house as to not be seen by Greg, who was in the next room getting ready. She had dreamed about this day for months. For Marianne, marrying Greg was a dream come true. Giving herself a once over the mirror, she admitted to not being one bit nervous. There was a gentle stillness that settled over her spirit as she envisioned her future with him in there new home.
Greg laced his shoes as he sat in the living room just before he saw Marianne for there first look. He was dapper, from head to toe, handsome. He dabbed the sweat beads from his nose and took a swig of water before heading outside to wait for his bride. As Marianne walked outside to meet Greg, I kept quiet and let the moment unfold on its own. Marianne tapped him on his shoulder--I loved Greg's reaction as he saw her for the first time! His face lit up with joy. I just loved that!
After the first look, we headed to the ceremony site, The Oxbow Eco Center. We got there a bit early to take advantage of the grounds. The woodsy and rustic environment was the perfect place for the bride and groom photos. An advantage of having a first look is getting to take LOTS more bride and groom photos on the wedding day, something that you can never have enough of!
The ceremony site was nestled underneath a beautiful old Florida oak hammock, which lent to a stunning backdrop. Despite some sprinkles, Marianne and Greg managed to have their entire wedding outdoors without a hitch. A string orchestra serenaded the guests and added just the right amount of elegance to the day Everything was perfect.
Marianne and Greg, thank you, thank you, thank you! I am honored to have captured your gorgeous outdoor wedding! I wish you all the happiness and love!!
