My husband, Jeremy, will be the first to tell you that every morning before the sun rises, I don’t need any prompting to get out of bed and prepare a steaming pot of aromatic coffee. I usually have one or two cups first thing in the morning and perhaps another cup later in the day—but I’m trying to cut back on that one! Along with my coffee, I like to use my mornings to devote quiet time to reading my Bible and to pray. Ideally, I would love to discipline myself to rise earlier and include a morning workout at the gym. Yesterday morning I set my alarm for 5:30am, however I didn’t roll out of bed until 6:15—but I’ll get there, lol!

One of my personal goals is to go to bed earlier in order to wake up earlier. Somehow that last cup o’joe in the afternoon just doesn’t help with that! Despite the fact that I might be going to bed at the same time as an elementary kid, I know it will be totally beneficial! But no matter the bedtime, coffee rules!
