Their wedding was originally planned for October 7th, 2016. They did everything they could to keep it on the calendar. But, as mother nature had it, Hurricane Matthew stalled their plans. The storm rose out of the Atlantic, made contact with the East Coast of Florida and forced Lisa and Matt to reschedule their wedding for December. It was one of those things that no one had any control over.
But…mother nature gave them a beautiful day this past Saturday, I was so happy for these two! They deserved it! Their wedding at The Cooper Estate in Homestead, FL was the perfect mix of old Florida meets tropical elegance. Under a canopy of trees and surrounded by family, Lisa and Matt said their vows.
So happy that these two had such a beautiful, sunny day, it was a perfect time to get married. Lisa and Matt, thank you from the bottom of my heart. It was an honor to document your love!
Coral stone everywhere! The Cooper Estate boasts it's old coral stone. The building itself is over 100 years old!
The bridal suite that Lisa got ready in was Ah-may-zing!
Love these girls, that light, and that chic victorian furniture!
...And that light? Yes, please.
Ok, Lisa. You seriously are stunning and oh-so photogenic! ;-)
One of my favorite portraits of Lisa!
The handsome groom and his groomsmen just before the ceremony.
Love this shot that my second shooter, Chris got of Lisa and her father right before he walks her down the aisle. And how about those flower girls and ring bearer?! So sweet! Matt stands and waits for his bride, stoked!
You can't really get much more beautiful than this. Just perfect.
Woo hoo! They did it!
The Cooper Estate is an old barn made of cypress wood that has been converted into a stunning reception venue. Bring on all the cozy vibes.
One of the best parts of the day: The Cooper Estate let Lisa and Matt take photos inside before all the guests were seated.
End of the night sparkler exit for the win!
