F.A.Q.'s

Communication is key to any relationship. In an effort to maintain transparency and clarity with my clients, here are a list of commonly asked questions :)

01.

what's your style like?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. And I couldn't agree more! My inspiration comes from story telling. I love capturing all of the details that make up the story of your day. The dress, the ring, shoes, the moments that evoke emotion such as the father-daughter dance, and of course, romance! To me, it's all about capturing the moments.

I prefer natural looking images between my clients and I do this by giving guidance to my couples while I am behind the camera. Since bride and groom portraits are some of the most important images throughout the day, I recommend 30-45 mins of time to capture images that you will love.

02.

WILL YOU BE THERE FOR THE ENTIRETY OF MY WEDDING?

Absolutely! I have found that 8 hours is most popular with my clients. It provides just enough time for capturing the pre-wedding details and fun reception shots.

03.

Can I make prints?

Definitely! Each wedding comes with an online gallery of images from your day where you can pick and choose which images you would like to print. Although I retain copyright of all of the images, you are more than welcome to get them printed where ever you wish. I do, however, recommend that you print from within the gallery, as those are the ones that get processed through a professional print lab.

04.

When will I get to see my images

The entire wedding gallery is edited and available to you within 4 weeks. Engagement sessions are edited and available within 2 weeks.

05.

Do I get a CD of images?

My delivery method is all digital. With technology becoming more and more advanced, computers are now starting to phase out CD drives all together. I believe that the safest method of delivery is online, where the images get stored online. Having a digital form of images makes it so incredibly easy for you to share (email, share on social media) with your friends and family as well!

06.

can i have an album?

Oh, yes. Albums are one of the highlights of your wedding. It is the first family heirloom that you will have together as husband and wife! Many years from now, I want you to be able to pull out your wedding album and go through each scene with your children, reliving the emotion and feelings that you felt in that moment.

07.

tell me more about the engagement session

I love engagement sessions!! And I love getting to know my clients as much as I can. I have opted to include engagement sessions in my collections because I feel that it is so important to get to know you as a couple and it gives me an opportunity to see how you both interact and also gives you an opportunity to see what it is like to work with me.

I prefer to have my couples choose their location, one that is familiar and comfortable to them. I'm laid back, so anywhere you want to go is fine with me! I've done sessions out on boats and out on the sandbar!  I recommend 2 wardrobe changes, specifically one casual and one dressy. Sessions begin 90 mins prior to sunset.

09.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Yes, yes and yes! I love traveling :)

10.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK YOU?

As soon as you are able to! Unfortunately, I cannot "hold" wedding dates without a deposit. A non-refundable retainer of $500 is required to book your date with me!
